He may have his driver's license – but it looks like Patrick Schwarzenegger isn't too old for a ride from mom.

"Back to school shopping. I'm [too] tired so @mariashriver is pushing me around," Schwarzenegger, 17, Tweeted on Monday, sharing a snapshot of his mother, Maria Shriver, carting him around as the two picked up school supplies.

Their trip comes at the end of a bittersweet summer for the soon-to-be high school senior, which began with the breakup of his parents' marriage.

But the budding model and co-founder of the charitable clothing line Project360 was able to focus on work and enjoy some downtime with his family on the beach.

"Everyone is doing well, really well," he recently told PEOPLE.
