Even for music divas, this isn't behavior that's tolerated on set.
During the video shoot for Mindy Smith and Daniel Tashian's "Taking You with Me," a sweet duet off the Our Idiot Brother movie soundtrack, one of the stars was spotted licking, pawing and begging to be hand-fed hot dogs between takes.
But since this particular star was a fluffy golden retriever, all was forgiven.
The dog isn't in the video just to be cute; he's also a reference to Our Idiot Brother. In the new big-screen comedy, Paul Rudd's character, Ned, has a golden retriever named Willie Nelson (three of the music legend's songs are also featured on the soundtrack). In the video, Willie Nelson the dog is played by an AKC Champion named Westin Having a Party, informally known as Mr. DJ.
And while Mr. DJ is clearly used to being in the spotlight from his show days, being on set was a whole other matter. He promptly fell for singer Smith, rubbing against her legs, nuzzling her neck and licking her face.
Maybe Mr. DJ was inspired by the song's lyrics: "You're in my heart, that's where you belong."
