Kate Lands on Vanity Fair’s Best-Dressed List

It’s been an exciting year for the Duchess of Cambridge: a royal wedding, a North American Tour and now, a spot on Vanity Fair‘s International Best-Dressed List. Her first appearance on the list came in 2008, and a whirlwind of fashion successes since has earned her this illustrious second nod. Kate has gained worldwide recognition for her signature mix of high and low fashion, recycling looks, wearing accessible labels and dressing down for daily tasks. Though she also knows how to make a glamorous entrance — a skill that will serve her well as a member of the royal family.

Some other highlights of the annual list include President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama, named together as a well-dressed couple; expectant French First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy; and newly married Princess Charlene of Monaco. From Hollywood’s royal ranks come actors Justin Timberlake, Colin Firth and Carey Mulligan, plus musicians like Lady Gaga and Janelle Monáe.

Am I the only one that finds Kate’s style completely bland? There’s a difference between “classic” and “boring.”

Kate of course is on this list, but Lady Gaga come on. she’s not a fashion icon she’s a girl who likes to be over the top with clothing and not good over the top

Kate of course is on this list but Lady Gaga give me a break. Lady Gaga is way to over the top and not a good over the top, dressing in a meat suit does not make you a fashionista last time I checked

1st let me say that I think Kate is absolutely gorgeous…but…is it me or is she getting skinnier and skinnier? She’s looking too thin. I think she should gain a little more weight.
2nd Lady Gaga pn a best dressed list? This is the same woman who showed up to an awards ceremony with a meat dress and acessories. This is what they classify as best dressed? Hmmm…suspect!
