Heidi Montag Meets Jake Pavelka and Danielle Staub on Famous Food
What's cooking with Heidi Montag?
The former Hills star is teaming up with former Real Housewives villain Danielle Staub and Bachelor hunk Jake Pavelka on – what else? – a tasty new reality show.
In a clip from Famous Food, which debuts July 10 on VH1, Montag meets her new costars, who will work together to launch a new restaurant in Hollywood.
"People think I'm this train wreck that hasn't wrecked yet," she tells the camera before introductions are made. "Little do they know, I actually have a brain."
The celebrities will work with restaurateurs Mike Malin and Lonnie Moore, who will judge their efforts in the kitchen and in the dining room. The most deserving of the group will be awarded a partnership stake in the restaurant.
Getting down to business, Montag, 24, suggests fine-dining Mexican fare for the new eatery. But Sopranos's star Vincent Pastore begs to differ.
"Let me tell you something, there's a Taco Bell on every corner and we don't need [another one]," he tells her.
"There's a difference between fine dining ... and fast food," Montag says.
"Ain't none of my friends coming," Pastore says, "unless we've got eggplant parmesan."
As they say: Too many cooks ... makes for delicious drama.
