Carrie Underwood Still Adjusting to Calling Mike Fisher 'My Husband'

Fresh off a Tahitian honeymoon, Carrie Underwood is back to work.

"It's the first time I've sung anything since I became a married lady!" the new Mrs. Mike Fisher, 27, told a cheering crowd at the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday night.

Though she was "a little worried coming back" because her "pipes would be a little rusty" the singer breezed through a medley of songs, including "Jesus Take the Wheel," before signing autographs at the end of her set.



And while Fisher, 30, didn't make an appearance, he wasn't far from her mind.

"It's so weird saying, 'My husband," she said with a laugh, adding that she's been enjoying "a wonderful month."
