Four months after her split with director Sam Mendes, the actress, 34, has been quietly dating British model Louis Dowler, whom she met through mutual friends, according to News of the World.
Winslet and Dowler, also 34, who has appeared in fashion campaigns for Burberry and Paul Smith, have "been on lots of dates and get on really well. It's early days for them but they enjoy each other's company," a source tells the British tabloid.
Reps for the Oscar winner and the model had no comment about the report.
So who is the 6-ft. model who has reportedly caught Winslet's eye? The London-based Dowler is "very charismatic," his rep at Elite Models in Toronto tells PEOPLE. "Clients love working with him and he is a fabulous and talented guy."
Winslet and Mendes, 44, separated in March after almost seven years of marriage because they "just grew apart," a source told PEOPLE at the time of the split.
Both have kept low profiles since then but stepped out together in New York with their son Joe, 6, and Mia, 9, Winslet's daughter from a previous marriage.
