Mario Lopez Wants a 'Chubby Baby'

Mario Lopez is embracing everything about becoming a dad: He's planning both a book and a reality show around first-time fatherhood.

Until then, the Extra host, 36, is doing his best to take care of pregnant girlfriend Courtney Mazza.

"She looks beautiful pregnant and I just pamper her," he told PEOPLE Saturday at the GQ IZOD Indycar party in Indianapolis. "I'm constantly trying to feed her because I want to have a really healthy, chubby baby!"

He says the reality show is not 100 percent confirmed, but is "looking pretty good."

"It follows me through juggling everything and wanting to learn," he says. "There's so much out there for women but not so much for men, and I want to be a very hands-on dad. I think having a humorous but informative way to tell that story would be great for a show."

Lopez's plans his book to discuss similar ideas, and he thinks it could be "a book women could get for their guys to be prepared for fatherhood."
